Ledgers Settled

Silas funded his fiancée Jolene's film career in secret for eight years—until her agent Jax sold his name to three investors and plotted to sell performers' private data, with Jolene looking the other way. At the signing ceremony, Silas pulls the $8 million on live TV, freezes the accounts, and demands every cent back. He rebuilds the film with a raw newcomer, Elowen, turning it into a $48.7 million box-office triumph and an Oscar. Three years later, Jolene returns on her knees to beg for reconciliation. He doesn't look at her twice—her new film goes through the rules, not his heart.
